We stayed here for four nights and really enjoyed it! It’s in a quiet neighbourhood, but only about a 20-minute walk to the popular areas. I can’t say enough good things about Tiago — he truly made our stay. He was always available, helped us navigate the city, and gave us some great recommendations. Since it’s a guesthouse, we also met a few other travellers, and everyone was so friendly and a pleasure to chat with. The house offered some food and coffee, which was a nice touch. We stayed in two different rooms; the only small issues were that one door lock didn’t work and both TVs weren’t functional. Fixing those would be my only suggestion. Still getting 5 stars from me though. Overall, we had a lovely time here and would absolutely recommend.
The host Pedro is so so kind, also it's a very good located spot. The room is comfortable, we had a private bathroom, and there are more, perfect if you are a very big group as us. They have a kitchen in which you can cook, having breakfast and a side in the freezer to share some food home made by the property.
The hostel is really nice! The building is old and it has a beauty on it's own. The room we were staying was big enough, the bed really comfortable and we had also a nice balcony to sit outside. It has a beautiful kitchen to cook , eat or just drink your morning coffe. The host was really helpful &kind with everything. It has a lot of transportation near by yo get you whenever you want. The area is quiet and you can walk 10 minutes to Bairro Alto to find some night life. I would totally recommend it!
We had a really great experience at this hostel. It is very well located, clean, and comfortable, which made our stay very pleasant. The reception and kitchen were well maintained and practical. What really stood out was the kindness of the hosts. They were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help, making us feel comfortable from the very first moment. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it!!!
Everything here is exactly what I was looking for. The guest house is in a quiet area of Lisbon full of small, quality restaurants, quirky interiors, complimentary breakfast supplies with at least 2 way of making your coffee in the morning. The famous tram is nearby and there is a bus stop just in front of the entrance of the building. We stayed in a one bedroom suite, very clean and comfortable with everything needed provided for a good night rest. Our flight was delayed and we got clear and easy to follow instructions by mail how to let ourself in. Very pleasant stay for us. Much appreciated. Thank you.
We stayed 6 nights at the house Sao Bento and it was just perfect. We had a nice room with a shared bathroom (which got cleaned every day) Nice and clean kitchen, lots of free food/goodies offered by the guesthouse. Possibility to wash clothes for 3€. The price was very reasonable and affordable for us students. Good location, close to the historic tram station which goes directly to the center of the city. We can only recommend !
Lovely hosts having a lot of good reccomendations for the Trip The room(suite with own bathroom) was very very nice. A very comfortable bed, a well equiped kitchen (including everything you need to have breakfast like bread, marmelade, coffee, milk for free) and a very tidy bathroom make the Trip very pleasant
